First time trying Ashley's and glad that I was able to try few of their famous pastries. I don't think that I have ever tried better than their oreo cupcake before!!! I can't even find the right words to describe the glazed croissant. It is definitely one of the best pastries I have tried. I am currently craving it while writing this review. Also got my hands on the creme horns, they were okay not my favorite. I really loved the varieties of pastries that they offer. In addition to their gluten free options. The staff were helpful and recommended me with the best pastries. I can't wait to be back. Ashleys pastry shop is highly recommended to specially try the glazed croissant!!!

I was being a man... and i order a photo cake at the last minute... Ashley not only accepted the challenge but they crushed it... that cake was so damn good... it was perfect and it made her day.... everybody love that cake. thx u again for doing it on such a short notice

Discovered this gem while visiting Dayton. Delicious! We enjoyed the lemon bar, and magic bar. They also had a great gluten free lemon bar and other options. Theresa and her staff went above and beyond offering local recommendations for us to try during our stay. Thank you!!

I worked with Theresa to create a custom birthday cake. I gave her bare minimum details, "it needs to have about as much chocolate as humanly possible" and "I'm thinking the 'Mom's slice trend.'" What she and team created was breathtaking, mouth watering, unforgettable masterpiece. This was possibly the best chocolate cake I've ever had. It was loved by people who do not love cake. It smelled amazing. It was gorgeous to look at. It was the perfect texture. The ratio of frosting to cake was spot on. Whatever separated the two layers, ganache, frosting, fudge, we couldn't decide, but I think it will grace my dreams for years to come. They were easy to work with. Reasonably priced. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The cases were full of treats I was desperate to try. Thank you, Ashley's!

Ashley’s Pastry Shop never disappoints. I’ve been a fan for a long time, as this cozy bakery has the best sweets and fresh baked goods. My favorite is the iced sugar cookies which come in tea size and full size. Today, it was raining and the gentleman working, completely unprompted, walked customers out to their cars with an umbrella. Now that is service! Thanks for being the best pastry shop around, Ashley’s!

The deep fried croissant are truly a work of taste Bud tantalizing art.!! The donuts are pretty amazing too, but the croissants.I would walk 5 miles in the snow to get them!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ashley's Pastry Shop at 21 Park Ave, Dayton, OH, and what a delightful experience it was! As it was my first time at this charming establishment, I was immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles and even showered me with compliments on my outfit, which was such a nice confidence boost! The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the pastries they offer. They provided great recommendations, highlighting their most popular items, including the croissant, which looked absolutely mouthwatering. While I didn’t purchase the croissant during my visit, I was tempted by the extensive range of pastries available—everything from cookies and danishes to donuts, lemon bars, strudels, and cinnamon rolls and more. The establishment also had a nice verity of cool beverages. After browsing the impressive selection, I decided to try the cherry cheese pastry. It came neatly packaged in a plastic tin with a napkin and fork, which was a thoughtful touch. Once I got home, I warmed it up for about 15 seconds, and let me tell you, it was incredible! The dough was flaky and crispy, and the filling was generous and rich, with sweet cherries that added a delightful contrast. I’m already craving another one and can't wait to explore the other flavors they offer! One unique aspect of Ashley's Pastry Shop is their payment policy—they don’t accept credit cards, only Venmo, PayPal, and cash. This might be a bit unconventional for some, but it certainly adds to the charm of the place. It’s also impressive that they’ve been featured in various local publications, two including the Dayton Daily News and the Dayton Business Journal, which speaks volumes about their reputation in the community. Was looking for a local bakery to get some birthday treats, and I couldn’t be happier! What an absolute gem! The employees clearly enjoy their time, and the owner goes out of her way to make sure what you’re getting is exactly to her standards. The donuts are heavenly — somehow, they fry them so they have a slight crust, and it’s absolute perfection!! My best recommendation is to try EVERYTHING!

This is my second year in a row ordering a custom birthday cake, and Ashley‘s bakery never disappoints!! The Decoration specifics are always on point and of course the buttercream icing is my favorite, always creamy and the cake is always moist. This will be my new favorite bakery! Thanks!
